Konamox-CV

A broad spectrum antibiotic, also known as beta-lactam group of antibiotics. The combination of amoxicillin and clavulanic acid is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria, including infections of the ears, lungs, sinus, skin, urinary tract & dental infections.

Amoxicillin is a class of medications called penicillin-like antibiotics. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Penicillins contain a beta-lactam ring which is destroyed by bacteria, making penicillins inactive. Clavulanic acid is a class of medications called beta-lactamase inhibitors. It works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin.

It is available in tablet form & syrup for kids.
